Goal Setting Tips: 7 effective ways to reach your goals
What is your purpose in life? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Or has anyone ever caught you continue to amaze? Unfortunately, many people today have lost the art of setting goals. They live each day as it comes, with a final finish.
Others have a vague idea of success in the future, but that's about it. I've heard many people say they want a home. While such goals are inspiring to achieve they are too broad and are more likely to remain dreams than reality. What good is a goal chance when you are far from reaching it?

1. Achievable targets.
One of the key tips for setting goals is to set realistic goals. Not an objective of earning one hundred thousand U.S. dollars at the end of the month if you barely make a thousand dollars a month. That kind of "big leap" goals are bordering on wishful thinking and are much harder to achieve.
Yes, it is important to dream big and never let go of the ultimate prize, but you gradually do so – to the more credible and achievable.
Using the same example above, you would set up a target of earning two thousand U.S. dollars at the end of the month. After you've achieved that goal, your next goal to three thousand U.S. dollars, and so on. Eventually you reach the point where you could a goal of earning one hundred thousand dollars a month late to fix … but not before you passed through different levels of escalation purposes.
2. It's all in the details.
The more detailed your goal, how effective it becomes. By very specific and puts a lot of effort into creating a goal, you're already halfway done with the job. Your mind is already mapped to the result your goal. That alone will help you a lot.

It motivates you to do your best to achieve your goal. This reward system works very well for targets that are a little less fun to play.
5. Keep things positive.
When writing your goals, try to keep your words as positive as possible. In fact, you can do to tip number four. You can write, "Pass the exam and go celebrate at the best restaurant in town."
That's certainly more effective than writing, "pass the exam or else mother will take away the laptop."
6. Continue to achieve your goals.
Not about setting goals and then drop them to the side when the going gets tough. Goals are not always easy to achieve. They may require time, hard work and even sacrifice.
If you are afraid of a little hard work, you'll only be setting yourself up for failure. Give a quick goal also weakens your chances of completing even one goal on your list. Remain committed to your goal, unless it is more practical to change course.
7. Make sure goals that you all agree.
Do not set goals that a conflict could produce a different purpose. A lot of people do not really notice how contradictory some of their goals can be. Look at your goals list, read it more carefully and take note of all the goals that another object could hinder its success.
For example, you might dream of a champion sumo wrestler offset a goal of having six-pack abs (Ok, this is extreme, but you get the drift.)
Goal setting need not be a waste of time. As long as you remain realistic, relevant and positive, I see no reason why you can not reach your goals. So do things the right way and you will not have to worry about setting yourself to fail.
