Most children have a place in their heads where they go when they day dream. For some children this a magical place where the grass on a hill is not green, but constantly changing colors red, blue, mauve and green. orange, red or purple – Trees can be any color. The sky is sometimes yellow, the rivers running in the colors of soft drinks and soda pop.
Personally, I think living in that world forever kaleidoscope a little hard to take … but! If you want to help create a fantasy land for your child – and perhaps away from the "Barbie" pink and purple or "space" concept, consider this.
Choose two similar tone paint as the base wall color – a mid-strength color, not too pale. Colors to choose from including pink lollipops, Wedgwood blue, lavender (make sure it is a "hot" Lavender is not a "cool" or "gray" tone), or warm rusty gold.
- Paint two walls in a color, the other two using the alternative you have chosen.
- Select third paint – this time a much darker color. Maybe a mushroom, a strong dark blue, a plum color or a very dark fuscia colored paint. Use this color around the frame and window sills. It is your "trim" color.
- For the very adventurous, you can play with the color of your ceiling. If you step out of the white-painted ceilings, choose a very soft gold (a yellowish white) or a green tinted off-white paint.
- On the tops of the walls, ceiling light turns on, choose one of the non-trim paint colors to paint fluffy clouds. Aim for two to three clouds of different size for each wall.
- At the base of each paint a "3-D shape about one meter high – a different form for each wall. In front of the painting a smaller version – to give an For example, a wall looks like a pile of blocks, the other perhaps a mountain made of pyramids.
- Approximately 1.5 meters on the wall mask a section of 120mm wide. Choose a color. Paint this color in the masking tape around the room – like a red thread that runs through the room. Make sure this is not the same color as the base currency wall paint colors. If you have chosen for the walls painted in blue and pink, for example, the color within the band can gold or green.
- At the hardware store, ask your child choose transfers for each wall – one character per wall. For example, a unicorn, strange, dragon, pirate, fairy or mermaid. Position on the wall so that the character has a relationship with the shapes you have created.
- Choose accessories to fit the theme – Hang a net in a the corner of the room where the mermaid is swimming and the Treasury to introduce a toy store in the part of the room where The pirate resides.
Hopefully, when you finish painting the room you have a wonderful space for your children to dream, play, rest, and remember when they grow up.
