How Mickey Mouse came to be
Mickey Mouse is more than eighty years old. He looks much younger, but he was drawn by Walt Disney while he was traveling on a train back to LA in 1927. Walt was depressed about losing the rights to Oswald the Rabbit, and perhaps just as well, or Mickey Mouse would not exist today.
Mortimer Mouse was first named Mickey Mouse, but this soon changed. There are a number of stories circulating about why the name was changed, but the most popular belief is that Walt's Women do not like the name. While Mickey Mouse has some weight over the years, he is still in the same outfit he wore back in 1928.
Mickey Mouse was easily can only have a cartoon character, next to Betty Boop and Popeye, but instead he became one of the most beloved characters in the world.
Leading to rapid rise Mickey Mouse to stardom could only have been cheerful, optimistic and resilient character, and the fact that he is very cute and sweet. Note that it is said that genuine Mickey Mouse achieved fame as Walt Disney decided to give him a voice. At that stage, most silent films, and Mickey's first three films were silent. Walt Disney did everything he had to create three Mickey Mouse cartoons with soundtracks recorded in the first set was Steamboat Willie. It was difficult, because the musicians had to time with the cartoon to keep and the money ran short, but with perseverance Walt's, the job was finally finished.
Of the three cartoons, Steamboat Willie was the only successful, and went into Colony New York premiere at Theater on November 18, 1928. Within a few months a new Mickey Mouse shorts were produced, including Plane Crazy. Mickey's rise to stardom had begun and the mouse was a national craze in no time at all.
Walt, very handsome, launched a line of merchandise for Mickey Mouse items, and a fan club came well established. By the year 1937, Mickey had a face lift, and Disney Studios, the production of about twelve Mickey shorts per year. Disney himself provided Mickey's high voice.
