Do you think Barbie is a bad role model for kids?

As a role model, physically, yes. Barbie is a shallow concept of what a person should look. Scientific, its impossible to have Barbie's body, if the person would die with its dimensions, or at most very unhealthy. Barbie has a lot of other bad ideas, and as her lifestyle and her possessions. Barbie's personality, depending the toy is admirable, in some cases. Barbie is a lot of reputable business, career wise, and everyone has one goal with a career high. I think a bit far fetched that someone would take time to write an essay about how Barbie is a bad role model, however. One thing to keep in mind is Barbie's just a TOY! That's right, they do believe. One thing parents should do, as parents (: D) is set right their children on their own merits and unique personalities. Everyone has role models, certainly, but realism should be placed. To answer your question, I think at a young age, everyone has a role model. To strive for that person to be is normal, as long as reality is in play also. The real answer can only be given by the person, as each have their own takes on said character. Remember, everyone is unique, in a certain way. With age comes the knowledge to find that result. One should not model after a mythical figure, especially as they grow.
