Tips for selling on eBay – attracting more hits and Bidders
This article assumes that an eBay seller account. You may have already tried to sell but so far your responses to those auctions were unsatisfactory or non-existent, and you are dissatisfied with the whole experience. Read on, and gain essential tips for selling on eBay more active participation, and hopefully get higher final bids. eBay auctions can be fun and profitable.
Looking at the auction sites, you notice directly that many offers were made by professionals. Either they have a regular existing site and are using the auctions as another way to move their inventory, or they have been in business for the sole purpose of online sales. In recognition of that, some auction sites have a special section for the current sale of businesses, eBay lists they "eBay Stores".
What can you do to your auctions to fall among all the "big boys" who are there? How you can join an auction that will sell? The key for you is to brainstorm a stunning presentation and give a personal description. Auctions are for everyone, including you, the little guy, so do not feel intimidated.
It is not really a secret. Only understand what is important for the public and learning the best ways to display your items. Some sites, like eBay, hosts in-depth discussion forums you can participate in and help departments with lots of great tips for improving your results.
Catch their Eye
Gallery pictures focuses on your auction immediately. These thumbnails are displayed in search result listings, and can be used to make your auction stand out from the rest. You do not always want the full list of your object in the small gallery pic shows, sometimes a close-up or specific detail can entice viewers to click and view your auction. A bit of The "mystery" in the image gallery can be a positive thing.
Clear pictures in each listing are critical. Good lighting and sharp focus to help the essence of your item to bring. Since the buyer can not touch or pick up the real thing, you need a "virtual tour" of each dimension. Remember to a sense of size, including possibly an object that is easily recognizable (a coin, for example). The more pictures the better.
Heads and Sub-titles

Item Description
Once you have the potential bidder for your auction main page (with your beautiful Gallery Photo and Headline Punchy) open forward, now there is another important task for you. That's right, you need the item in detail.
This part can make or break the auction. A good rule of thumb is to get as much information as possible, and give the good, the bad and the ugly. Say it like it is. Before you type the description to place, starting with a blank word document and put the features, history, the defects, the benefits, use, unique features, and yes, the problems. Add anything you can think that helps the buyer in his / her decision. Please use this document as the basis for your final description text.
Try to avoid the full description in a solid block of text on the webpage. While you may learn a bit of basic HTML "spice up" the overall look of your auction, what is the most fundamental you can do is to introduce the paragraph tag. This breaks the text more readable segments and provides clearer understanding.
Start the bidding period
Take a look at other auctions are conducted for similar items as yours. This will give you an idea of prices and the level of interest rates (measured in actual bids or even page views at the bottom of the many auctions). If a chess game you have to sell is a rare antique, it is perhaps not a good idea to offer 1.00 U.S. dollars, with no reserve.
On the other hand, do not want to scare people with a starting price too high. Let market forces work their magic and encourage people to to become involved at a level that is comfortable for them. Be realistic, be aware of what is happening with other auctions, honest, and start bidding on an item that is tempting and appealing to the public.
Remember "Buy Now" is an option with a number of auctions, and if you know exactly what you want to sell something, go ahead and the price fixed place on this brand. In general, buyers will find using the "BIN" on an item that is a great value for them at this point and you reach an immediate sale with no fuss, no waiting.
