2009 Dubai International Film Festival Opening Ceremony
The 6th Annual Dubai International Film Festival will be held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to attract celebrities from around the world. Planned order of 09 December to the 16th, the DIFF will showcase some of the hottest up-and-coming films from the turn world.
Making the most of her time abroad, Mandy Moore was spotted at the opening night of the 6th Annual Dubai International Film Festival. She looked spectacularly dressed in a black Escada Fall 2009 on the first day of the 2009 Dubai International Film Festival this week. Her black silk satin V-neck dress with a ruffle-embellished grid skirt is so beautiful from the front, as it was from the back. Her whole look is great on the red lips, the back pulled her to the dazzling earrings and matching clutch. She is definitely a contender BDOTW, but with so many candidates do you think she deserves to be on the list?

The opening of a nightclub for my school project?
I'm opening a nightclub in my town, because there are no night clubs here. But once I open earn lots of profits, other people open too. so to stay alive in the league and doing well, what can I offer my customers? How can I maintain a competitive advantage? I thought that offering Air Miles to our customers. Is that feasible?
Here's an answer I gave to someone with a similar question. I would definitely avoid gimmicks including free if you buy X Y _____ drink free on Tuesday, etc. The later sections on branding may be more use, since you say there is no club in your city. The first step is to take stock of what other clubs in your area are doing. Go out and spend a few weekends in the establishments of your competitor. Watch / listen to what people do / say. Look for trends in demographics, and see if / how they change based on the night and the time of the night. What kind of music they play, what kinds of activities they, how are customers responding? Looking to see what kinds of customers to draw what the types of clubs. If you get a good feel for market and what other clubs offer take a good objective look at your club. Try very hard to see your business from the perspective of a client. Be honest with yourself about your relative strengths and weaknesses. A SWOT Analysis can help with this (a list of internal strengths and weaknesses, and external market opportunities and threats.) The aim is to focus on branding your business and create long term sustainable competitive advantage. Focus on providing something that your customers are adding value, so customers begin to associate those things with your business as opposed to gimmicky things this margin to run and no long-term solutions. For example, say you find in any other nightclub customers impatiently waiting for a drink and service. You could decide that your competitive advantage will be that a customer never wait more than 30 seconds for their drinks to be taken. Whatever it / they is / are not publicize, let your customers figure it out, and they will! The next step would be to create the culture within your building. ___ On the club, our customers do not wait for service. Finally, you align your actions to reflect your brand. Check out "Strategy Maps" by Kaplan and Norton for a good book on creating strategic alignment. JR
