The answer depends on your age or any generation can relate to most. Each generation is shaped by the events, developments and trends of our time. And the media plays a major role in transforming and shaping the perception of the generations.
Generation X: the letter 'X' originally proposed the ambiguous, misunderstood, discouraged generation. The ambiguity is now clearly defined and hence the alternative name Thirteenth Generation (the thirteenth generation since we are the establishment of the land) should be used anymore. Gen X can be described as growing up with MTV, Pac Man and The Breakfast Club. Pressed between two large generation of baby boomers and Generation Y, Gen X is also characterized by having the middle child syndrome – always ignored and undervalued. As rivalry with Boomers when the oldest Millennials complacent as the spoiled baby with a sense of entitlement. The media has much of its attention on the Baby Boomers entering into retirement, social security, medical issues and the rise of biotechnology. With even more attention, the media is fascinated by tabloids of today's youth, their lifestyle, their relationships, and more of the same monotony. Gen X are feeling overlooked and invisible. So we have a generational conflict chip on our shoulders, but what about coverage of success of a running X 40, X-icons, or X as an influential technology generation? Is it too much to face more time, more visibility, more recognition?
Generation Y: the offspring of the Baby Boomers make up today's teenagers and twentysomethings. They like fame, celebrities, technology, trademarks, and six degrees of separation through social networks. Somewhat ironically, Millennials inherited and benefited from the creation of Gen X platforms like Google, YouTube, MySpace and Amazon, who are largely responsible for the classification of this generation as the internet generation. This is a large population of 76 million people who are technically savvy and can be powerful because of their ability to link. With their sense of empowerment, They ask: "I want what I want, when, where and how I want." Quick access to information, communication similar to instant gratification. This generation has easy access to a wealth of information can be an overload. This trend will continue largely to Generation Z.
Generation Z: the future of our future, mainly the children of Gen X. This is a very young generation with the oldest at 12 years old. Despite their youth, the characteristics of this generation are quite clear. They are exposed to technology very early in life and most have already an online identity. They are considered the most stressful generation for their involvement in too many extracurricular activities – piano lesson tap dancing, swimming, soccer, singing class, etc. With the tight schedule of daily activities, sometimes they forget to children.
There is no doubt that every generation gap uniquely marked. The previous generation contains the path to the next. Of course, conflicts between generations are as commonplace as a generation expected conformity of another generation. This our relationship would certainly less complicated, but that's not reality. The reality is that generations differences should be embraced, accepted and respected.

What is your opinion about the careless way our generation is acting?
I'm 14 and I really want to know the perspective of other old young. I have a friend, who decided she would train to Sydney and go shopping without telling her mother, when she changed it to Sydney to catch. In the middle of a public park when I asked her why she said, just for fun. I do not understand. How can our generation so carefree?
Behavior and ethics, cultures – they are all "freer" than they used to be so. you need to know why? Birth, women `s lib, more money, lack of parental control, easy mobility, easy sex, women are more independent, hardly fear of anything more, girls have more freedom, money, etc. The whole society is "softer" (less severe "than before.). There is a lot more money around, "so young" can follow their dreams and fantasies much easier, without any fear of a comeback of easy-going parents. In a simple society, morality, relax, and people lose their fear nothing. There is little discipline and no self-discipline. Whether this is a good thing or a bad is a matter for discussion.
