A Barbie in Australia
Australians love to barbecue. I even joked around with a camper neighbor that Aussies pretty much have barbies on every day of the year. I joked. With a straight face that he had agreed and said that was pretty much the case. My joke bummed. I discovered how much they enjoy barbecues and how they worship and maintain the grill. Once by using a local park, I saw brick pit grills. I checked it out. There was nobody around, so I button reversed. The jump life! I was really surprised. There were no coin slots or so. A local ranger over and I asked him about, he said it was a common thing around Australia. These were provided by our friendly neighborhood park authorities. You do not have to get permission for grilling a big juicy steak and chop!
Makes me want my throughout the freezer and try to bring it out. But that would be foolish to let my childlike curiosity gets the best of me.
I decided to visit the local tourist information centers in the area. I asked if there was an occasion or a holiday coming.
Sure enough, there is the Steve Irwin Day. A memorial day for the croc hunter and backyard camp outs will and people are wearing khaki. Not to cargoes and loads of barbecue grills mention! Grill galore!
So instead of spending our days in the RV, we joined the whims and the humming of Steve Irwin!

What themes or games or foods would you do for a 7-year old birthday party?
It will be a park. All ages, but usually 6-8 years. I already have a backyard carnval, barbie, princess, fish, Dora party. I have ideas about everything from food to decor to games, but a little cheap. Thanks for any ideas. These past week of July.
