Corelle Square 30-piece pure white. This 30-piece each set includes six plates, dessert plates, 10-ounce bowls, 18-ounce bowls and 6 mugs. Click Here for more details I thought the square plates would be difficult to use but they are very 'user friendly'. The clean lines and fine white look of this dinnerware meets my expectations. The dinner / lunch plates have a round bottom and are slightly deep to keep sauces without worry of spillover. The smallest scales are ideal for ice cream or a small dessert, the perfect size for that little treat. Lunch plates Many large for a complete meal, while the signs are ideal for those above average appetite. Very happy with this purchase. This is my favorite pattern – I like it even better than R & B's Forum Peyton and patterns, but it is not 18/10, as the rust showed after just one wash. Looks like a lot of silver companies are going 18 / 0 composition – I think they think they can pass this crap off on people. Personally I hope they are wrong – I returned mine. I sent back this framework because it was pricey and not as heavy as I would have liked. Good for every day, but I was not looking for everyday cutlery. "I read the reviews on this product before I decided to buy it from Amazon, although a number the reviewers stated that they did not think the stainless was 18/10 as stated on the Amazon site. It came yesterday and after investigation, there were, as another reviewer said, no markings where it was 18/10 or stamped on the frame is the self or on the packaging. I decided to send an email to Reed and Barton to see if they could shed some light on this discrepancy, and since I own a different set of stamps with their specifications called Hammered 18 / 8 I asked about that too. Here is their reply:
Hi, is the Crescendo II 18/10. It is 18/chrome (0). If the pattern is stamped hammered 18 / 8 that's what it is. All our patterns are used 18 / 8 then we went to 18/10 now sold most of our patterns in sets 18/chrome (0).

I plan to Amazon e-mail with this information and The Crescendo II I bought from them again. The Hammered I own that is 18 / 8 has held up very well (8 years) with no holes or stains, but when I only use it for special occasions and hand washing afterwards. It's a nice set.
"I bought this set as a gift and both myself and the recipient were pleased. It came very nicely packaged and the caddy was fun, a bit big for a typical tray however. My only concern is that none of the documents were marked as 18/10, which is one of the main reasons I bought this set. I have a Reed & Barton 18/10 set myself and each piece is clearly marked on the back. There was nothing on the box to indicate whether that was in fact 18/10. So I know if this is not a misrepresentation of the product or where all members 18/10 is simply not noticed (which I seriously doubt). This is the reason I only gave it 2 stars because I feel that they define the wrong on this one and I did not get the higher quality set I thought I ordered. I have my set now 3 months and there is a lot of rust on the tines of the forks and knives. Great price, but I regret my purchase.
