Sarah Graham inspires new Sindy Doll
Photo Realist Artist Sarah Graham has led to a toy designer to create a unique Sindy doll.
Godfroy toy designer Rachel Scott has a Sindy doll based on the main themes of Sarah Graham's art, such as her use of pick n 'mix sweets, lollipops, bright and vivid colors.
Godfroy Ms. Scott presented the doll after a meeting with Sarah Graham on one of the exhibitions of the artist earlier this year.
The Sindy doll has small wrapped candy given to her bright red hair, a dress bodice consists lollipop wrappers, a red skirt, complete with multicolored star, rainbow Theme socks and red shoes.
Graham said on her official website: "The Chupa wrappers were carefully printed on a cloth so they could be sewn to the bodice of the dress to make, and it even has a Velcro seam on the back, so I can dress her up in other outfits … not that I ever will! "
Sarah Graham revealed on her official website that she has been with Sindy dolls and obsessed with making art since childhood, so the creation of the toys were received as a great compliment.
Being an artist posted a link to the doll on her Facebook page and said it was one of the highlights of her career so far.
Sarah Graham wrote on its website: "I can not thank you enough for Rachel to make her, if someone had told me as a child that I would one day have my own exclusive doll based on my ideas, I would never have believed them! "
There are some of Sarah Graham prints available with dolls, like English Rose, Sheer Blonde and Brilliant Brunette focusing on the face and hair of each toy.
The artist produces such vivid pictures in the photo-realism genre that many people confuse Sarah Graham prints for current pictures.
Sarah Graham revealed that she likes the new Sindy doll so much that they have to be immortalized in a painting.
There is a positive reaction to the doll on Facebook as photos of the toy Sarah Graham asked fans to leave messages for free.
Dawn Ogilvie posted on the social networking site: "Oh my god a custom Sindy What a great compliment, well done you!"
Sarah Graham graduated from Leicester's De Montfort University in 2000 with a BA in Fine Art and has since signed to Washington Green Fine Art Publishing.
