The Princess and the Frog Watch Streaming Free Online
The Princess and the Frog is an upcoming 2009 American animated family film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, which is loosely based on the novel by ED Baker The Frog Princess the Grimm brothers' The Frog Prince. It will be the 49th Disney animated film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics and the first theatrically released animated film by 2D since 2004's Home on the range. It is directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, directors of The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, and Treasure Planet, with songs and score composed by Randy Newman and featuring the voices of Anika Noni Rose (as Princess Tiana), Oprah Winfrey, [4] David Keith, Jim Cummings, John Goodman, Jenifer Lewis, Bruno Campos, Michael-Leon Wooley, Peter Bartlett and Terrence Howard.
The film, whose production began under the working title The Frog Princess, will be an American fairy tale Orleans, Broadway-style musical set in the French Quarter of New. A prince named Naveen (Bruno Campos) from the country is Maldonia turned into a frog by the evil machinations voodoo sorcerer Dr. Facilier (Keith David). The frog prince mistakes a girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) for a princess and have her kiss him to break the spell. However, the kiss does not break the spell, but instead makes Tiana into a frog too. Together, the two of them reach the good of the bayou voodoo priestess, Mama Odie, a friendship while trumpet-playing alligator and a hopeless romantic firefly roadside. The film opens in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25 2009 before the expansion to wide release on December 11, 2009.
A press release describes the story as follows:
"If the unconventional, jazz-loving Prince of Maldonia Naveen (Bruno Campos) comes to town, a shady deal with a voodoo doctor (David Keith) is bad and the once suave Royal has turned into a frog. In a desperate attempt to favor a human back in exchange for a fateful kiss on the lips of the beautiful girl, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), takes an unexpected turn and leads both of them on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana on the banks of the mighty Mississippi and back in time for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. An unforgettable tale of music, humor and heart, where two frogs, with the help of a 197-year-old voodoo priestess, a love-sick Cajun firefly, and a trumpet-playing alligator discover that what they want is not as important as what they need. "
The official trailer has shown that once Tiana kiss the frog prince, is she herself a frog, and they must travel together to change themselves back into humans.
