Buy-Closing Techniques – A 1 – 2 to 3 Punch to get the sale

Buy-Closing Techniques – A 1 – 2 to 3 sales to get the Punch

It does not matter what industry you are in, if you try to make a profit, you must become proficient in the successful use of sale-closing techniques. Even as a remodeling contractor, the author had to use it to succeed in business and generate an income in a volatile and competitive market. Since the new family business has achieved so well, it's all been reduced to a sales using this combination.

It all really depends on your personal sales process – but here are three of the most effective methods of marketing, in tandem for a knockout punch to get:

  • Doorknob Close
  • Supposed to close
  • Puppy Dog Close

There is much more to choose from, this place RELATION TO THE 3 related money-makers actually have the experience of the author as a franchisee-owner and owner of two other companies. Let's look at each in turn, and feel free to tweak it to fit your own application.

Doorknob Close

After the sales presentation or pitch, and ask for the sale a few times (using the assumed in their neighborhood, below) only be met with a flurry of objections, may the wind out of sails a bit. Then give up so easily, however, a successful salesman will have this ace up his sleeve. Because of the rhetorical integrity, let's say you presents in a place of business, say that you are trying to advertise or sell anything. You've met with some objection, you think you have answered them, but the prospect is leaning towards a waffling "No"

Close the door knob when you turn and head for the exit apparently, accepting defeat, appear only to pause in thought with your hand on the button. Then, in Colombo-like fashion, make it look like you just had a great idea. What your prospect, you say, "Hmm, You know, I can appreciate what you just said, I'm in those shoes too. But if price is the main opposition … (Or what is the objection). "Then you should come with a Puppy Dog close (see below) for the strongest doorknob to close, or another "this is the best I can do, I'm giving it away at this point" type of deal.

Supposed to Close

The neighborhood is really supposed to a way of asking for the sale, and fits in one's personal selling process. Place of asking for the sale in a "Yes" or "no" fashion, just assume that the sales and the narrow sense as a choice of quantity, quality or delivery date. In other words, if you sell a sports car, ask if they want it in automatic or manual gear selection, rather than "Do you want the car?"

A common mistake a lot to do with the supposedly in the neighborhood that they forget to come prepared with answers to objections. Answering objections is a necessary component of all sale-closing techniques, so come prepared. After answering the objection is supposed to go back to, and ask again for sale.

Puppy Dog close

The Puppy Dog Close is the easiest to do if you are the entrepreneur, but you know your break-even and ROI for a particular sale offer before. With other words, do not give away the company to the tractor to win. This works really great with the knob close to a great 1-2 combo.

It works as this: you have completed the above, objections answered, and you get the feeling that the prospect would buy now, but somehow you lost them. At some point, their sales resistance was only a hair, and Puppy Dog Close just may bring them back around. Do you offer a "Try it risk-free" state, and if they do not want after giving of a shot, then they do not have to buy.

We do this all the time in our service-oriented business, and it works well. If people want us a shot, then they can, and we form and "sign them," so to speak, all the time telling them they do not have an obligation to use us. The kicker is that all true hear – do a small dog if you just unethical and the curves are in prospect in a contract deal in an underhanded way.

To summarize:

If you ask for a sale, assume it is a done deal. (Supposed Close)

If you are met with objections only because of objections, and you think the person is doubt, use a doorknob Close.

To really sell the deal and remove any resistance, use a small dog Close or risk-free trial, so that your company is to prove to your prospect.

Armed with this sale-closing techniques customized for your own personal selling process, you should not close more sales.

Which elliptical trainer on sale at Costco would you recommend?

Costco in California has two elliptical trainers for sale from January 8. One is the Ironman Fitness Aeros for $ 999. The other is a Nordic Track model ($ 200 discount, but I have not the actual price). All info on: – the overall quality of each manufacturer – Strength / Quality of construction – noise – I've heard magnetic resistance, which is both quieter – programs / other features? Practical trainers I have used the Precor at the gym, so ask how to compare them. Thanks!

I have wondered the same. Costco I have to visit this week to confirm the correct number, but I think it is the Nordic Track Elite 1300. Treadmilldoctor.com is the only place that really seems to treadmills are legitimate, knowledgeable and comprehensive reviews and, more recently, ellipticals. They have the NordicTrack 1300 (made by parent company Icon Health & Fitness) and consider it the best buy in the $ 500-1000 price range. My Costco has this unit priced at $ 900 regular, or $ 1,000 – can not remember for sure. It sounds like you can not go wrong with it for $ 700 or $ 800, using the $ 200 rebate. Http: / / www.treadmilldoctorstore.com/Product-Reviews/Elliptical-Reviews/Nordictrack-Elite-1300 Unfortunately, TM Doc has not reviewed Ironman elliptical so I know nothing about their quality. The Ironman brand is made by Keys Fitness, which seems to have a pretty decent reputation the treadmill industry. Here is a link with advice from TM Doc on Ironman as a brand / company. Http: / / www.treadmilldoctorstore.com / Product Reviews / Treadmill-Reviews / Ironman Treadmill Review Index Here is TM Doc's feelings about Icon Health & Fitness, who make the NordicTrack brand stuff: http://www.treadmilldoctorstore.com/Product-Reviews/Elliptical-Reviews/Nordictrack-Elliptical-Review-Index I think that none of these will feel quite as sturdy or as a commercial quality Precor unit, but they do not seem bottom-of-the-home elliptical barrel, either. Return Policy at Costco is great, but neither unit Costco.com be test-driven, unless you have the same unit at another store or fitness store. Guarantee on the Aeros, according to the Lifetime frame, 2 years parts, 1 year on labor. The NordicTrack 1300 is worse at 1 year frame, motor, all parts and labor. Icon Fitness offers reasonably priced extended warranties through it (not sure if this is a division of Icon or a 3rd party company), which probably a legit and stable outfit. The Epic 1000 is a sister model of the NordicTrack 1300 and Epic offers a lifetime warranty on the frame. This seems strange. Aeros Elliptical is not even listed on www.ironmanfitness.com! Sure makes it difficult to find information about a product if the manufacturer does not even acknowledge its existence! If I end up buying one of these, I'll probably buy NordicTrack because it seems to be $ 100-200 cheaper and has a 'best buy' tag TM Doc. The Ironman Aeros is an unknown quantity to me right now UPDATE. I hope this helped – at least one: bit! Whatever the answer below, ProForm models are made by Icon Health & Fitness, so this is no reason why it should prefer the NordicTrack models. The price of the NordicTrack elliptical (model number 1300) at Costco is normally $ 900, making it $ 700 after $ 200 coupon. The Ironman is $ 300 more and at this point I have not seen anything on the internet to convince me the extra funds worth.
