Which American Girl Dolls are retired and how many retired AG dolls selling for?
Can you provide a list of all retired American Girl Dolls? We know Samantha and Nellie, and intend to sell them. How much would you sell Nellie (retired) for on Ebay? How much would you sell Samantha's outfits? Thanks so much!
Historical: Samantha Nellie Kirsten (She was recently announced and is available until sold out) The Girls of the Year (available for sale through American Girl for only one year): Kailey Lindsay Marisol Mia Nicki Jess At the end of this year (2009 Girl of the Year) and her friends Sonali Chrissa and Gwen will be retired. There is also a series of "Just Like You" dolls that have been retired over the years. Will you sell them with or without their clothes? Dolls with all their clothes and near-new condition tend to sell for more. Clear pictures of everything. With eBay, the trick is when you end the auction and low starting price that drives the competition between the bidders. The best way to sell them on Ebay to a low starting bid. I started a retired Samantha outfit (clothes do not fit in my new 1988 dolls) at $ 4.99 and sold the outfit for $ 45. I bought it new for $ 28. I sold a retired Mia, gently used with her clothes, began to $ 39.99 and received $ 110 for her. Let your auctions end around 7pm PST on a Sunday. All my auctions ending at that time tend to do very well. Not to be discouraged if you do not see the bids throughout the week. Most of the bids is done within the last 24 hours, especially the last hour. The last minute is when the competitive bidders will be crazy. Good luck!
