The Sound Percussion 5-piece Junior Drum Set
For those looking for something suitable and cheap, Sound Percussion offers decent starter kit. It includes a snare, two mounted toms, floor tom w / legs, bass, bass pedal, hi-hats, crash / ride cymbal, hi-hat stand, cymbal stand, snare stand and throne. It has an average build and Shell provides a neutral tone. But this is a great low-cost kit for evaluation of early talent.
CB Junior Drum Set
This Kit is ideal for a young rocker, because the entire kit is reduced to the needs of small to fit. The kit comes with a bow, two mounted toms, a floor Tom W / legs, bass, bass pedal, hi-hat, crash cymbal stands and throne. The Junior Kit uses a bass mounted crash cymbal stand that mounts just behind the two mounted toms. It has decent heads already installed, and a drum key for tuning the head. Over all this is a wonderful start kit. CB uses a double-layered birch-maple mixture, which results In a sturdy bowl with warm tone and solid projection.
Gretsch Blackhawk Drum Set Jr
While it is a normal size kit, the Blackhawk is a very strong and forgiving drums that the abuse may create and keep rocking. The Blackhawk comes with a bow, two mounted toms, floor tom w / legs, bass, bass pedal, snare stand, double-braced hi-hat cymbal stand and boom. Unfortunately, no cymbals or throne included. But you can some good package deals at your local music store. The Blackhawk uses large Basswood / Poplar shells that project a clear, warm resonant response that only get better with age.
Ludwig junior 5-piece Drum Set W / Cymbals
Ludwig's accession to the junior market is a smaller version of their legendary drum sets. Unfortunately, they are a few strokes missed on this one. Although the shell construction is strong the tonal qualities are dull and boring. This Junior comes with a bow, two mounted toms, floor tom w / legs, bass, bass pedal, throne, hi-hat, crash / ride, hi-hat stand, snare stand, two mounted tom holders that slide into the bass and the throne. The Junior comes with a bad drum heads and no instructions on how to put the drum set.
