Manual or automatic Oilers: Which to choose?
Oils is very essential to ensure that the watch is working properly. But it must be perfect. Not too much or too little. Too much oil means that the extra oil will drip down on the spindle and hide the underlying work to ensure that it drips down into the pinion leaves and drips on other surfaces. The end result is that a brand new watch will be that much more back to the watchmakers are checked. And such automatic Oilers are the best option for busy workshops working on different watches at a time. But together with the benefits there are several drawbacks with automatic Oilers. They are a little quirky in dispensing the correct amount oil on the clock. The amount of oil can vary each time. And if the dispenser clogs you might not even notice that the machine was a mistake. The oiler may not be able to waive right in the hole jewel, as each watch is different. No oil slops in the course should be removed and that means that the entire watch must be dismantled for cleaning the excess, which is a waste of time and effort. Different sizes of nibs are needed to separate jewel holes and that means you to the dots while the watch models change. These oilers should be placed outside the sunlight the oil deteriorates when exposed to light and every oilman requires regular maintenance with a small maintenance loading.
It is difficult to decide which is better, but as a watchmaker, you can choose according to your preferences. But both work equally well.

How to change a calligraphy pen NIB?
I searched online and all nibs like the one who set my pen but I have no idea how to mount and unmount the nibs. The pen I use a dallaiti. Thanks
Yes – look at pictures – I agree with the previous poster – it looks like a normal dip-pen The. handle likely a kind of 'keeper' spring inside, which seizes the long metal tab on the other side of the writing point of the nib. Usually the curve the non-writing end of the NIB section will enjoy the round shape of the handle. remove the nib grip between thumb and forefinger near the handle, not in the possession of the 'Business end' of the nib. (It is easy to get a pen tip with excessive force or twisting injury). Pull the point of firm and supple. You may need to turn something free. Insert other points, keep them well halfway through, avoiding the grasp of the slot and the tip of the pen tip.
