What are the rarest Silkstone Barbies?
I am looking to buy a Christmas gift, and I want it really special. The majority of the silkstones pseron I buy the less expensive. While she is as beautiful as the others, I want to get her a more collectible. So my question, what Silkstone Barbie something rarer, but still not extremely expensive? My budget is not more than $ 100. I am willing to buy on Ebay. So, name some dolls! Left his lover = 3
The older Silkstones as Fashion Designer & Fashion Editor tend to be a bit harder to find and prices may vary. Platinum Label Silkstones Redhead Joyeaux such as FAO, Dahlia and Violet (dealer exclusives) are also harder to find, but tend to cost more than $ 100.00. Your best bet is to look for on ebay Silkstone Barbies & see what is there that could be in your price range. Be aware, however, that many of the previous Silkstone dolls are "green ear" due to the metal earrings that Mattel used in developing countries. I have almost all of them have multiple Silkstones & green coloring on their ears even after I took their earrings (not one of the easier projects I've taken) in almost 10 years collecting pop.
