American Idol Kelly Clarkson is a girl with talent
My friend wants one thing for Christmas. Well, one person. He wants Kelly Clarkson, winner of the first year shouted the popular American Idol. He wrote me an email the other night glory – as always – Kelly Clarkson's virtues and begging me to find a way to make this a wish requirements.
Granted, the girl gifts. Consider such songs as my friend who plays continuously, songs like "Since U Been Gone" and " Before Your Love / A Moment Like This "(both have a decent number of light metaphors). She sings them with a moderately skilled range appeals to a large number of listeners (And viewers) in a semi-sexy semi-cute fashion, and has a clarity and familiarity of song lyrics that even this old lady can appreciate on some level.
But my young friend is serious about having a friend like Kelly Clarkson. He just wants to hang out with her, drinking coffee, walk … and you know, I can see them as touching rather well in this regard. Kelly seems active, engaged, dynamic, willing to go on that one day mountain hikes or cut a different Christmas decorations or futz about the orchid garden other.
But I can not stereotype and give him Kelly Clarkson CDs, and besides, he is one of those clubs MP3 download. I could do the following obvious thing and give him a poster, Kelly Clarkson, or better, a life-size cardboard stand-up Kelly Clarkson cut. Kelly Clarkson or a mug or a pot or keychain.
And I heard about the stars that are accessible to such a strange request – along the lines of the baseball star who promises to hit a homer for the child in the hospital – like making a short video greeting message or phone, but my friend has no debilitating illness or disturbing brain damage, really, so Kelly would probably ignore my letters and requests.
And a single private concert will not do for my spoiled friend says no, he wants her singing here every day, delighting in her smiles, sharing her soul.
I understand his obsession (that is, do not worry, very tongue-in-cheek innocent), I have my own obsessions – some of which involve marginal, the most recent American Idol finalist, Beau Bice. But my friend rejection of the gardening tools, Anne Rice books and kilos of chocolate as inferior gifts, along with his adamancy about getting Kelly Clarkson here in their place is driving me crazy!
Any ideas?
