How delicious old-fashioned bean: End of Summer and Bell Pepper Relish Relish

Tie a pretty ribbon around the neck of the jar and place it in a basket with a number nice kitchen paper and maybe a nice sauce dish. Attach a pretty bow and you will be giving your own unique gift.
MIZ Nellie's THE END OF THE SUMMER Relish
This is an old recipe from my childhood days in southern Indiana.
4 cups onions, ground
4 cups green tomatoes, crushed
4 cups cabbage, ground
5 1 / 2 cup green pepper, ground
3 cups red bell pepper, ground
4 cups cucumbers, ground
1 / 2 cup salt
1 tablespoon celery seeds
6 cups sugar
2 tablespoons mustard seed
1 1 / 2 teaspoon turmeric
4 cups cider vinegar
2 cups cold water
After grinding the vegetables, put them in either a stainless steel or enamel saucepan, add the salt. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.
The next day, pour the liquid from the vegetables. Rinse thoroughly and re- drain. To add to saute the celery seed, sugar, mustard seeds, turmeric, vinegar and cold water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 3 minutes. 8 Pack in hot pint jars. Seal and place in a warm water bath and process for 3 minutes.
Bell Pepper Relish
This is another old recipe Hoosier.
18 peppers (use a mixture of red and green), chopped
1 large head, shredded
2 tablespoons celery seed
2 teaspoons mustard seed
2 tsp salt
2 cups white vinegar
A fourth apple cider vinegar
Mix all ingredients together in a large saucepan or stockpot and bring to a boil, let stand 20 minutes. Seal in sterilized jars. Make sure jars and seal place in the refrigerator.
