ATP Tennis: Canas off the day win, while Serena and Nadal go
Last Sunday the Argentine Guillermo Canas finished his race well in the male category at the Sony Ericsson Open, while American Serena Williams and Spaniard Rafael Nadal also had spectacular performances.
The battle between the Latin American players, Cañas and Gonzalez was just breathtaking. Cañas, who is currently ranked five tenths stunned Chile's Fernando González to advance to the Masters Series tournament quarterfinals.

Another American who has advanced to the quarterfinals was James Blake who played the French magician Santoro 6-3, 6-7 (4 / 7) 6-4 and will now face Czech Radek Stepanek
The world number one Justin Henin easily beat Italian Sara Errani of 6-2, 6-1 and will face In the quarterfinals of the Russian Elena Vesnina, who eliminated Ashley Harkleroad (6-4, 5-7, 6-4).
