Strawberry Sorbet
Fresh fruit recipes for hot summer entertaining
Summer means enjoying light, refreshing moisturizing goodies. Look for recipes that fruit, require no oven and use water as a basic ingredient.
Quality of the water can turn a delicious recipe acid. Several waters have a unique taste and mineral content directly influenced by their origin. Choosing a natural artesian water and pristine, like Fiji water. The celebrated soft texture and clean taste will not mar a recipe flavors.
Here are 3 light and easy summer treat:
Fruit Gazpacho
3 cups of Fiji Water
2 cups orange juice
3 tablespoons sugar
Zest of 1 orange
Zest of 1 lime or lemon
1 mango or papaya
1 / 2 cantaloupe melon
1 / 2 honeydew melon
——-
1 apple peeled and sliced
1 cup blueberries
——-
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 or 2 slices of kiwi
——
Combine first eight ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Empty mixture in a bowl. Stir the diced apples and blueberries.
Serve and garnish with sliced strawberries and kiwis. For 6 to 8.
Fruit Medley Punch
4 liters of Fiji water
6 cups pineapple juice
2 cups fresh lemon juice
2 cups orange juice
2 liters lemon / lime soda (carbonated)
5 cups sugar

1 fresh pineapple, finely chopped
3 medium oranges, finely chopped
1 sprig fresh mint
Mix all liquid ingredients in large punch bowl. Sweeten to taste. Garnish with floating orange slices and a sprig fresh mint. Chill and serve. Serves 50.
Orange Mint Sorbet
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice cup water1 Fiji
1 cup sugar
2 sprigs fresh mint
In a small saucepan combine Fiji water, sugar and mint leaves over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Stir. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover pan. Let cool. Stem syrup in a medium bowl. Add orange juice. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the container, cover and place in freezer until half frozen. Take, stir with a fork and place back in the freezer. Once fully frozen, blend the mixture in a blender until smooth. Cover and freeze until ready to serve. Serves 4
