Wedding Dress – the best dressed guest
Follow these tips to help you look like the belle of the ball. Think carefully about the occasion and Do your research before you let the credit card fly in all directions. Is it:
Indoor / outdoor?
Sit / stand up?
Day / evening?
Glam / relax?
Be yourself. Not become all frivolous and flowery, if in the best of times, you feel better in a suit (ie a classic). Or not that well coordinated suit yourself if you feel more comfortable in pants and a top (you can also then be a natural). Dressing based on your personality will help you have more fun in the process.
If you have not consulted yet, Chapter 4 of Colour Me Confident deals with the issues Style of personalities. Once you know and understand your personality style, making your everyday and special event units will share half of nature.
Ignore fashion. Just because the "in" does not mean the garment you are considering is right for you. And color and the price you need things like the scale of the pattern, where the waist, the length of the dress / skirt and check whether they are right – or wrong – for you. The baby-doll look is popular now but want to look pregnant? We recommend that you always need clothes that are comfortable to wear – a bit looser is much more flattering than a little too tight.
Standing or sitting
If you're going to stand for the entire occasion, you MUST have worn your shoes before they are brought through the test.
If the opportunity takes you to a garden, choose a stack heel or wedge which probably sink into the ground when you step on the lawn. Stack heels are great this season, and the choice of style and color is yours for the taking.
Warning: Linen is a fabulously cool fabric to wear in spring and summer, but if you go a fair amount of time spent sitting, you might want to consider folding factor.
Plain or patterned
You should consider whether what you buy is a one-off or something you want to wear again and again.
With so many pattern around you have a field day choosing yours. Make sure the size is proportional to the scale. Patterns can be great to "hide" bits you do not want to show off: a top or dress pattern can help disguise round bellies.
If you are wearing a pattern, keep the accessories area, ie with a patterned dress, choose a solid colored bag and shoes. Think about the jewelry too. Of course if you are a creative, you will ignore this and do whatever you fancy on the day!

Buying clothes should not be a chore. It's about fun. Once you know what suits you and what colors and styles you should go for, will be shopping that much easier.
