Teddy and famous
As we all very aware teddy bears owned and loved by thousands of people around the world, regardless of age, nationality or gender and both rich and poor, but we realize how many famous people have owned a teddy bear?
Politicians, members of the royal family, sportsmen and women, pop stars and movie stars have all known for a special teddy bear own. Many celebrities have finally leave, they clean a teddy bear, which they loved property, even it is only during recent decades, the possession and holding a teddy bear she has not had a stigma previously., loving a teddy bear was conceived as a bit childish you were considered a little eccentric. Fortunately, however, we can all be shouting from the rooftops that we love teddy bears!
Alexis Tarnoff, the famous dancer, got a teddy bear when he was only five years old (he was born in 1901 – just before the teddy bear made his appearance). His teddy bear was painted black boot button eyes and he has made mohair. He's quite an unusual kind of teddy bear, his arms and legs are quite narrow and they are attached to his body on the outside metal fixtures, which look like large metal buttons, dealing with the trade name "Shield" Actually, this bear is very similar to the early French teddy bears dating from the year 1920 -. 1930, if bears had external joints like his. The problem is, if this were the case, dates, etc. do not match, so I suppose his teddy bear will always be a bit of a mystery. Unfortunately Tarnoff Alexis died in 1989, so we can not ask more about the history of his old bear. But trying to work out a teddy bear's history is often very exciting and interesting and really does not add to the excitement of collecting teddy bears.
The Late Dame Barbara Cartland, who was famous for writing romantic novels, had a teddy bear that she called the Prince of Love. She said he was a teddy bear version of her romantic heroes embodied. The Prince of Love was all decorated taken over by a series of jewelry which were donated to him by Mrs. Cartland. He had sewn earrings and down his arms and in one ear and he wore a beautiful pink ribbon around his neck (Mrs Cartland was always known for wearing pink themselves.) She dressed her teddy bear to look, as she said, as an Indian prince. Barbara even wrote a special poem for her beloved teddy bear.
Dame Judy Dench, the famous actress who among many other roles, is famous for playing 'M' in the recent James Bond films, she has an avid teddy bear collector for many years. She now has more than 100 teddy bears in her collection, her favorite is her first teddy bear that she calls 'Gray'. Gray is dressed in a beautiful green pants.
Ringo Starr (drummer with The Beatles) has a very large Panda to him in 1976 by Keith Moon (the famous drummer with The Who). It was obviously love at first sight, when the two were almost inseparable. Ringo called his Panda 'chairman of the board of directors, "as he now lives on all activities of Ringo's meetings. The chairman of the board got a pair of white gloves that once belonged to Marc Bolan (T Rex fame).
The late and great poet Sir John Betjeman (1906 – 1984) was a beloved teddy bear that was made by the famous German company Steiff (circa 1910). Sir John derived much comfort from his teddy bear he 'Archibald'. Sir John wrote Archibald even in his poetry (called by Bells). When he died, Archibald was in his arms.
Teddy bears are also very active in Parliament. Edwina Currie's bear the name "Omar" would often sit at her desk in the House of Commons, as her lucky mascot. Sometimes Edwina practice her speeches on him and not once has he moan or reply back.
Late Dr. Marjorie (Mo) Mowlam had a large and as she called him "pretty ugly" teddy bear that her father bought her when she was a small child, he bought it at the local tobacco shop, she called him "grumpy".
Former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, had a big teddy bear she called "Humphrey" that was made of sheepskin leather with brown legs, he was born around 1930. During the 1980s he lived with the Prime Minister at number 10 Downing Street, London, of course, that was when he was not outside the office doing important charity work. Humphrey was a big bear at 22 inches high. Alas, poor old Humphrey was teddy bear into the sky in 1988 after he was in the washing machine.
The late Earl Mountbatten of Burman (1900 – 1979), grew up to become First Sea Lord. He had a wonderful and beloved Steiff bear (circa 1904). Presumably teddy bear was given to him by one of his German relatives.
BBC's famous gardener, Alan Titchmarsh has a bear that he calls "Teddy", on a chair outside his bedroom door. Unfortunately, the bear has lost most of its stuffing out of his hands. Although his head is still quite strong, it seems to lean a little to one side. Poor old Teddy smiles a friendly smile that Alan Biro on him to replace his black one stitched.
The Late Dusty Springfield owns a beautiful Merrythought 'Cheeky' Teddy Bear who they called Mr. Einstein.
Prince Charles is also very well known for his love of teddy bears and was photographed with his teddy bear to school with him. The deceased Queen Mother also loved teddy bears and has been photographed on many occasions holding teddy bears and when Sarah Ferguson married Prince Andrew, Prince Edward gave them both a big Merrythought Teddy Bear.
Elvis Presley had a lot of teddy bears, although he had a special teddy bear that he called Mabel. Mabel went to heaven teddy when, after a visit to England, she had a confrontation with a dog. Elvis had a hit with his song Teddy Bear and was later bombarded with teddy bears on stage by his fans every time he sang the song.
Shirley Temple sang the beautiful song Me And My Teddy Bear and the song was later covered by many artists including Peter Gabriel, Sharron Corr and Rosemary Clooney.
There are really so many Pop Stars, movie stars and show business people who owned teddy bears, too many to mention in this article and many other famous poeple too, as Donald Campbell (land and water speed record breaker). Amy Johnson (who flew solo from England to Australia), Willie Carson (the Jokey), Jimmy Hill (sports commentator), and so on and so on …..
So it is very clear to us that even the rich and famous have the love, support and comfort of a teddy bear. Is there really no end to his love?

I had a dream about three bears sleeping outside my house, what does it mean?
I was in my childhood home, and the three bears came and laid before the house. I could not resist because they are outside, and I was so afraid she would come and kill me. Any ideas? Yes, that's so hilarious. I was hoping for actual intelligent comments, otherwise no reply!
to see a bear in your dream means the cycle of life .. or perhaps bare your soul .. and leave everything in the open .. This probably means that your afraid afraid of what can happen if you did everything late in the open .. and perhaps with some doubt about the decisions you made ..
