Nursery Wall Decor – Lullabies and incentives
It is the most amazing, breathtaking and scariest days of your life. You are home the most precious possession that you're alone responsibility. The past nine months you have devoured every book imaginable on caring for your new bundle of joy to take. You also have many hours browsing through catalogs and magazines to the room that your newborn will spend most of her time in. You are aware that this special place can be the key to the development of your child to decorate. Before this child becomes a reality you just know that everything must be perfect.
The main theme that showed all you read is that you should make this room a place of learning, fun and reassuring. It must be a feeling of love and warmth and safety for the child or themselves and grow. As you most of your time one must also appreciate the room. Remember if you are happy and relaxed so will your child.
The first step is choosing a wall color schemes. Studies have shown that it is best to choose colors that are light, bright and airy. Dark colors provide a non-stimulating environment and the feeling in the room and closed lower. The introduction of warm colors like pink, peach or primrose helps create a sense of fun and adventure. The sooner the baby feels at home in the room, the better for everyone involved in the maintenance.
Have fun and be creative and most of all keep safety in mind. Making the perfect space for your little one can be a wonderful experience are. You want to make sure what wall decorations you choose, this will be a place that will comfort and around the sleeping child and lullabies and stimuli.
Children grow up faster than expected So try a theme that will grow with your child to choose. You can just choose to wallpaper borders and stick-ups that can be easily removed when your child has a mind of their own to faces. Another idea is to choose a theme that you can keep adding as the child develops. His or her room that they will enjoy a year and everyone will win.
Some popular themes are characters from nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Toddler years when they have these pictures on their walls will be recognized as friends from the stories she has told over and over again. Animals and flowers are a few other soothing themes I might suggest. What you finally decide on, a must for all new parents the purchase of a wall that is washable and easy to remove.
In the early childhood years children have difficulty distinguishing what is real and what is fabricated. What character you choose, the images soft and definitely not scary.
Consider incorporating shapes, circles, triangles and rectangles with geometric shapes. It is known this will constitute a child to focus better on objects, which boost their development. Also try to incorporate colorful patchwork design and a combination of textures.
The goal in mind when deciding on a theme, color, design and materials that you want wall decor that will attract your baby's attention but not overwhelm them so they find it stimulating to relax.
This is the best time of your life and the excitement that is inside of you is certainly spark your enthusiasm and will automatically generate exciting decor ideas.

Where can I find a good site that shows and explains how to hand quilt for wall decor?
Years ago I learned how to do quilting project that was wall photos and quilting. It was done with a simple pinwheel pattern with contrasting colors and everything is sewn by hand. I think it was actually application. Everyone knows of sites that have videos and written instructions for this?
