What tips can you give me for this years U.S. Open?
So the U.S. Open is finally here and will continue until September 1912 from New York City. As one of the best entertainment events in tennis, I would like to hear from you on the tips for improving my own game. Anything you can suggest for this year's U.S. Open?
Hi Andy. I am a huge fan of your game and I have supported since you started playing. As your wonderful winning the 2003 U.S. Open, you have shown tremendous growth as a person and a tennis player. I hope you win this title again, and I offer you some advice. After watching your game so long since you were 18, I hope to provide you with some information useful can be to your game. Physical (shot making) Serve-This is undoubtedly the best part of your game. If this goes well for you, then your whole game will certainly go for you. Make sure you have a high first serve percentage, which easily translates into winning more points. However, instead of going for aces all the time, you should slow down and erection to go. This ensures that you determine the point from beginning to end. Trying to vary, and more to serve and volleys to throw your opponent to go. Second service I love your kick serve and that it would feel to hold. Im not worried about this part of your game make sure you serve high percentages. Forehand, I remember your U.S. Open win, this shot was much aggressive and you used to touch the ball at an angle Flater then your swing was not so crazy. I can understand why you change to a loopier forehand because it is more consistent. But remember you have a deep aggressive if you want to run again. Choose your time and place to be aggressive, but doable. It dosn't need to be any point, but it should prevailent more in your game. You have less points for the player at times and the end bit faster, otherwise you might be in for some long established five matchs. The backhand shot is very improved compared to your U.S. Open Run in 2003. In your last Wimby final with Federer, I saw one thing that I didn't know you could do backhand. Again, do not think this recording as an weakness. Vary your photos, go inside for more backhands down the line. It has done wonders for you. As long as you keep this shot deep into your opponet right, you should be fine. Again, more aggressive at times. Volley/Overhead- Under your new coach, this shot is much better than before. I have some of the incredible photos you can create with this. I would not recommend Too often, as most players now Pasing big shots. However, this can win you many points. I would like to see more serve and vollies, dont chip and charge so much. Also, if you approach a shot, make sure a ball that hits you is short. Otherwise I have seen you hit good approach shots, but your opponet has too much time to react. Overhead is one of the largest today. No complaints. Drop shot You must use more advanced because you throw the opponent off guard most of the time. I've seen the fake drop shots, forehands than you do. People know that you as the man with the serving. Let them do what to get. Slice Be very careful on what you shot with opponents. Some of the players with better footwork, this will lead you in wrong way. Otherwise, with players having trouble with the change of tempo, this shot is heaven. I have to rely on this picture a bit more than I'd like. Dont try a forehand slice on this court. Return I see you like some more defensive on the return. Take your chances with half serving, just relax and go for something. Try not to chip back too much, although they have a place, I think you just need to go after the shot sometimes others.: Very good passing shot. Need to improve on footwork, but no major cause for concern. Less dependent spin. Fitness has improved … keep matches and short. The more matches you have, the more tired you become from the tournament. You are spiritual, a hard worker. When you do something, give it 100 percent. I expect the same here. You need your anger to take less the referee, because it just wastes energy. Dosn't matter if They made a terrible call, you just keep your mind on the match. Forget your Wimbly loss last year. That was some of the best tennis you've played any. If you can play like that this U.S. Open …. a doubt you will, without a win. Remember, this is your home, get the audience in your matches. Always: a clear plan for game Before you start, and when you decide on a shot, hold on, and go for it. Forget the past and look to the future.
